Vital Statistics

More evidence of super-infant development...Palden went to the pediatrician today for his one month physical and passed with flying colors. Some stunning statistics:

Length
He is a very tall boy!  He is now 58 cm long versus his birth length of 50 cm.  This means he's been growing about 2 cm a week.  He's in the 90th percentile for height.  Palden has inherited the Doe stature.

Weight
Palden is almost a hefty 10 lbs now.  He's 9 lbs and 15 oz.  He was 6 lbs and 15 oz at birth so he's gained 3 lbs already.  Also at birth his weight was only in the 10 - 25th percentile but he's now in the 50th percentile for weight.

Head Diameter
I guess they check to make sure his brain is growing and that his skull wasn't too tightly fused together??  His head diameter now measures 37 cm versus 35 cm at birth.  This is also in the 50th percentile.

It's good that his head and weight are proportionate.
